Claude for Small Business,
outside the US

Every skill that touches money goes through one connector, and that connector is QuickBooks. If you don't run QuickBooks, those skills return nothing. Not an error, not a warning. Nothing. The rest of the plugin never cared what accounting software you use — it runs on your email, your CRM, Canva and DocuSign, and it has worked since May wherever you are.

The plugin's own connector list, checked skill by skill. Xero is read-only here — it answers questions, it does not write. So a skill whose job is to send something has no Xero path, only a manual one.

Two separate things, and this is the part people get wrong. You can't swap Xero in for QuickBooks and expect the skills to run. Xero is its own hookup, straight to Claude. Then you ask Claude the question yourself instead of running the skill. Same answer, different door.

Four question categories, all read-only:

Nothing here moves your money. It reads. If an invoice needs chasing, Claude will tell you who and how late, and you send that email yourself.

• Any Xero plan works. Whatever you already pay for. You don't need the expensive one.
• One organisation at a time. Run two companies and you'll be disconnecting and reconnecting.

Of the eleven, Xero recovers the asking half. What's my profit, what's my cash, who owes me money.

The doing half — chase the invoice, close the books, run the payroll — is a write action, and Xero's connector doesn't write. There is no clever fix for those three outside the US right now. I'd rather tell you that than sell you a workaround that doesn't exist.
